Baška tourist trails, formerly ancient
shepherd paths, will guide us in this
adventure to the hilly plateaus above
Baška where we can find the dry stone
pens among the craggy white rocks
that were used for the seasonal
gathering and sorting of sheep, as
representatives of ancient folk
architecture…

departure from the Baška quay – Palada
on the guided hiking tour ( 380 m) called
“Path to the Moon”, one of Baška’s 19
walking trails that together have an overall
length of more than 90 km. After a short
break at the small rest area at the halfway
point, the hike continues though a moon-like
landscape to the pools of Diviška.

upon our return we will enjoy a Pancake Party on Palada – party with pancakes (crêpes) filled with honey, honey cookies, sage tea, mead. The Pancake party, Baška style, will be seasoned with the songs of Kumpanija Tramuntana, the local a capella singing group Zvonimir and dances by the Šoto cultural society.
