Endless walks along the sunny waterfront or 1800 m long pebble beach, the intense tastes of autochthonous gastronomic specialities, health and beauty centres and plenty of cultural and historical attractions – Baška offers something for everyone.

It is at its most beautiful in the spring when it literally tempts us to reveal its unique culture and natural oasis. It is a nearby place for all European tourists and adventurers that is still far enough away from everyday life, fuss and bustle, a shelter for the real connoisseur of true values , eager for peace, beauty and health.

We are inviting you to joins us this spring for an island adventure, an active holiday marked with the cultural and natural attractions of Baška and its surrounding areas, completed by an excellent gastronomic experience.

APRIL – gourmet programme – the month of asparagus,
seafood and Vrbnik wine Žlahtina

In the company of experienced guides, we’ll take you asparagus picking along one of Baška’s 19 hiking trails surrounded by the Baška hills, which are over 90 kilometres long. Together we’ll revive the ancient shepherds’ paths and take you to areas full of the sweet fragrances of herbs, where you’ll also discover completely new and unforgettable panoramic viewpoints…

Finally, this will be followed by the Asparagus Festivity and cooking of an enormous frittata!

MAY – gourmet programme – the month of Baška
lamb and Vrbnik wine Žlahtina

Dive into the depths of the sea in a unique way – by means of an underwater exhibition of underwater photographs with motifs from the Kvarner seabed. We will take you to the pools of the Baška Wellness Centre for the grand opening of the DIVE IN BAŠKA exhibition. You can also taste the Vrbnik wine Žahtina, which is the island’s most renowned wine variety.

To keep everything in line with the theme of the deep blue sea, experienced swimmers will be able to take a short diving course with an initial dive with complete diving gear, while those less experienced swimmers can take – a swimming course!

JUNE – gourmet programme – the month
of Baška honey and honey delights

Landscaped and marked trails, former shepherds’ paths will take us on a new adventure into the mountainous plateaus above Baška. Here among the rocky white stones we can find the so called mrgar – animal pens which were used for the seasonal gathering and sorting of sheep, made of dry stone, an ancient form of folk architecture. Walking along the hilly trails, on the high grounds east of Baška, we can see the remains of the ancient fortress Korinthia – a Roman settlement from the 4^th century A.D., a silent monument of ancient times…

We will take you for a guided hiking trip to the cove of Vela Luka and the remains of Korinthia – a Roman settlement from the 4^th century A.D., bathing on one of the most beautiful beaches in the northern Adriatic with refreshments on board the ship. The return to Baška aboard the Explorer.

This adventure with a taste of rock and salt will be followed by fun and festivities on the quay!

Let’s explore the natural, cultural and historical beauties of the seabed in the Baška cove and the nearby Island of Prvić.

Come with us and explore the largest uninhabited island on the Adriatic. Other than breathing in the medicinal sea air, the programme includes anchoring at an interesting location where you can follow the presentation of sea flora and fauna led by a scuba diver though the glass bottomed boat, and after refreshments on board, we’ll dock at the Island of Prvić and take an interesting guided and educational walk on the rocky island.

This adventure with the taste of rock and salt will be followed by fun and festivities on the quay!
